Beard Oil
If you are an experienced beardsman or just starting out, we can help you make your beard its best. Our beard oil is formulated with a blend of six premium organic oils carefully selected for their known benefits to skin and hair.

We offer eight scents that are inspired by our love of the outdoors and Alberta’s diverse backcountry landscape. All scents are made with a blend of at least five essentials oils. All but scents one are synthetic fragrance free. You can read about why we use fragrance oils here.
Beard Balm
Having a hard time controlling fly-aways? Want to give your beard some shape? Our beard balm uses similar oils found in our beard oil, but with a unique feeling four wax blend strong enough to control your beard.
Your skin will love the added raw organic shea butter, famous for it’s skin moisturizing properties and non greasy feel.
Available in a convenient travel sized tin (1 oz) or in a reusable amber glass jar (2 oz).
Beard Butter
A crossover between beard oil and beard balm, and yet it’s own thing entirely. We’ve included five specialty butters of shea, cocoa, mango and the more exotic illipe & murumuru.
Unique to our beard butter is a special plant based conditioner that adds a luxurious and silky feel that also helps to detangle and smooth your beard.
What is great for your hair is also great for your skin: our beard butter also serves as a powerful lotion–perfect for dry, prairie climates like ours in Alberta.

Wild Rose Country is inspired by wild rose, the official flower of Alberta and is one of my original scents that started off as a simple four essential oil blend. This iteration of Wild Rose Country is an approach to perfumery I have yet to try-- a duplicate of a pre existing fragrance usually from the perfumery world, more commonly known as a “dupe.” As I'm not one to disappoint those who have come to appreciate my style of scent blending, I've combined two dupes with a good portion of my own approach, for something unique to Macduff's Soap Company.
Wild Rose Country combines a dupe of Rose 31 by Le Labo (30 percent of the scent blend) and Killian's Angel Share (20 percent of the scent blend). The remaining 50 percent is a creation of my own that combines my own natural imitation rose blend (ho wood, rose geranium, Egyptian geranium and rosewood), a touch of atlas cedar, hay absolute and palmarosa (a holdover to prior versions of WRC) that lend a slight "grassy" touch, and a base of benzoin, vanilla, sandalwood, labdanum and oud.
The resulting scent is a sweet and spicy rose that has a rich, warm and woodsy base.

- Made with four skin nourishing butters: fair trade raw organic shea butter, kokum butter, fair trade cocoa butter and mango butter
- Green Tea extract is a rich source of antioxidants such as Vitamin C and Vitamin E
- Tremella extract is high in vitamin D, has strong water-binding capacities, easily penetrates the skin's layers, forming a protective film of moisture that transforms the look and feel of dryness and roughness.
- Hydrolyzed Oat Protein* is a moisturizer that enhances the moisturizing properties of our shave and imparts a velvet-like smoothness after drying.
- Silk, goat's milk and yogurt lend a luxurious creaminess to your shave.
- Superfatted with the organic oils of argan, jojoba, pumpkin seed, camellia seed and shea butter.
- Aloe Vera helps soothe the skin and makes for a better post shave feel.
- All of our fragrance oils are paraben and phthalate free.
*The manufacturer states that the product is gluten free however because it is made from the proprietary hydrolysis of oats, there may be traces of gluten remaining. The manufacturer has tested several lots and all contained less than 20ppm gluten.
